On-Screen Audit Trail

It is vitally important that an estimator knows the status of the takeoff during the takeoff process. Electrical Bid Manager includes the audit trail as a constant companion. Each Takeoff Module includes an attached audit trail window that can be used just like the audit trail feature of past Electrical Bid Manager versions. It is very easy to review the status of your takeoff.

On-Screen Job Totals

The job totals screen is now always present within each Bid-Summary module. Electrical Bid Manager makes it easy to review the job totals as you work on your takeoff.

Change-Order Module

Change orders can be added to each job bid. When you review the job totals you will see each added change order listed separately from the job bid itself.

User-Defined Custom Takeoff Icons

You can now create your own Takeoff Modules to make it easier to access the main Electrical Bid Manager database for faster takeoffs.

Produce Material Extensions using EPIC™ Custom Pricing Columns

Our customers have always wanted a way to price their job bid material lists using more accurate material prices. All Electrical Bid Manager versions allow material lists to be extended using pricing columns from EPIC, our material pricing system.

EPIC has a "Target Price" column that has been continually refined over the past years to become a reliable estimated buy price. EPIC has also had a custom price column feature for quite some time. Many of our users import custom prices directly from their suppliers to create a supplier custom price column in EPIC. EPIC has been improved to make it easier than ever before to use supplier discount sheets to create custom price columns.

Electrical Bid Manager allows material price extensions using all available EPIC custom price columns as well as the Electrical Bid Manager database itself. No other estimating software has this powerful new feature. Your estimates will now be more accurate than ever before.

Batch Job Backup

With a EBM's Batch Job Backup feature you can review or print a list of all new changes in Electrical Bid Manager by using the Help menu and selecting Changes.
