The truth is, Electrical Bid Manager was the most user-friendly. We have never had a problem with it.
When we first started, we considered $20k to be a big job. Now we are taking on multiple million-dollar projects, and have added on a warehouse to our new offices. The best thing we ever did was computerize our estimating with Vision’s software. We started by doing $600k in the first year and just finished 2002 with several million in revenues!
From 1999 to 2003, we have grown over 1000% percent. Vision’s software and support has been there the entire time.

Clearly, Vision has taken the time to make sure their software is user-friendly. When I first started looking for electrical estimating software, I tried several systems but just couldn't get past the initial difficult learning curve. I discovered Vision's software and haven't thought twice since.
There is a definite comfort zone created when using Electrical Bid Manager. I actually feel as though I am using it to its full potential. After doing a couple bids, I felt empowered and I understood what it was doing. All the information I'd expect to see is displayed. I'd be lost without it.

The main reason I chose Vision’s software is the Simplicity. I'm not a computer whiz-kid. I know a few things, but I'm not an expert. I found the software to be simple. I never had to take any classes or training. I learned everything from the instruction manual. However, I do plan to take some training to make sure I’m using all its features to their full potential.
After 9/11, things slowed up a lot. I'm not a full-time estimator, but in between jobs I do estimating. When things slow down, every bid counts. The Electrical Bid Manager software has helped me win an amazing number of jobs, even during the slow times. In fact, I just pulled in a $19 million job last month! When I sit down to estimate, it sure is nice to know that I’m using the right software to get it done.
If I had to summarize my experience with Vision’s software… I’d sum it up as: Simple, Accurate, Successful.
