We highly recommend that you take Course 1: EBM General Training and Course 2: EBM Extended Training prior to taking Course 3.

IMPORTANT: We will email you the PDF blueprint to print prior to the class. We recommend you print it in large format but standard 8.5x11 paper is okay.

Completion of EBM General and Extended Training (or equivalent)

Class Description

Using real blueprints, you will takeoff a complete 12,000 square foot commercial office building from beginning to end. Great class for real-world practice in learning to implement EBM. Includes Site Utilities, Site Lighting, Branch Power & Lighting, Feeders, and Distribution.

IMPORTANT: We will email you the PDF blueprint to print prior to the class. We recommend you print it in large format but standard 8.5x11 paper is okay.

This Online Classroom will be conducted over the Internet. Each student will be provided access to their own "Online Desktop". This online desktop will include the current versions of EBM and other Vision InfoSoft software. The student will use their web browser to log in and interact with their online desktop during the class.

Class Length: 6-hours (two-part 3-hour sessions, with a small break in-between)
Class Location: Online using your web browser.
Recommendations: USB headset or laptop/PC with microphone/speaker. (Better than calling in)

After Completion of the Class:

  • Create commercial electrical bids using Electrical Bid Manager
  • Read an electrical plan and consider bid approach
  • Look for possible omissions and errors
  • Prepare bid report for submission
